Today, Major Key Foundation founding members, Sofia Hailu and David “Czar” Jones, praised Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank’s withdrawal from Trump’s presidential advisory board.
“Racism has no place in society. Trump’s eerie silence against hate was deafening to us working with kids at Living Classrooms UA House in East Baltimore,” said Hailu. “The Plank family just visited Major Key’s music instruction at Living Classrooms UA House and they know all of us are stronger as one family, one community. We are so proud of Kevin’s courage to stand up to racism and hate.”
David “Czar” Jones, who just finished cutting a video with Snoop Dogg, explained, “Music is the thing that gives us all a chance to rise up and find harmony with one another as Americans. The President should follow in Plank’s footsteps and denounce bigotry and hate.”
Major Key Foundation seeks to provide musical training to students in the Baltimore and DC Area through innovative classroom instructions. To learn more about the Major Key Foundation, visit www.majorkeyfoundation.org.
